Dictation and Transcription (Shorthand Test): Dictation Speed: Standard shorthand speed test in English (typically required around 120 WPM or as specified for Basic Grade posts in Schedule A & B). Transcription: Transcribing the dictated shorthand passage on a computer within the allotted time frame, focusing on accuracy, spelling, and punctuation. 3. Computer Typing & Operation : Typing Speed: Speed test on a computer keyboard (typically a minimum speed requirement of 30 words per minute in English). Computer Operation Knowledge: Basic practical knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, basic file management) and everyday computer operations. | ||||
